Nashwa Al-Rawahy
Sustainability, ESG & Environmental Impact Strategy – Oman
Nashwa Al-Rawahy is a Sustainability and ESG Strategy Advisor within Eurogroup Consulting’s Oman Strategy Advisory practice. With over 15 years of international experience, she advises boards, sovereign stakeholders, and institutional investors on embedding environmental governance, ESG integration, and sustainability-driven transformation into long-term strategic frameworks aligned with Vision 2040.
Her expertise spans Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), ESG strategy development, economic and social impact alignment, and sustainability governance for large-scale infrastructure and industrial projects. Nashwa has led complex mandates across renewables, hydrogen, oil & gas, mining, water, and infrastructure—ensuring regulatory compliance, international lender alignment (including IFC and World Bank standards), and structured environmental risk management.
She plays a central role in integrating ESG considerations into feasibility studies, site selection analysis, risk assessment frameworks, and business model transformation programs. Her advisory ensures that major investments are environmentally resilient, socially responsible, and commercially sustainable.
Nashwa directed the ESIA for a 25GW green hydrogen megaproject—one of the largest globally—and has advised leading Gulf stakeholders on positioning ESG leadership within national infrastructure strategies. A recognized speaker at COP28 and World Hydrogen MENA, she contributes to regional sustainability dialogue and policy alignment.
Since 2015, she has held executive leadership responsibilities at HMR Consultants, overseeing technical, financial, HR, and project delivery functions. Her experience bridges policy, regulatory, operational, and governance dimensions—supporting sustainability integration at both institutional and project levels.
She holds MSc and BSc degrees in Environmental & Civil Engineering (Cum Laude) from George Washington University and has completed executive studies at London Business School.
